Home/Work Defense Seminar

Our home and work defense seminars are custom tailored to the needs of each client.  Although much of the key concepts and techniques are common to all, we adapt the class to the specifics of each client’s home or work environment, such as the number of employees attending or not (not everyone will be trained), size of the building/facilities (which impacts escape and avenues of approach, hiding places, etc), and expected level of threat.  For instance, a pawn shop that has been robbed before vs a suburban home has different likelihood of threat incidence.

Training concepts can include, but are not limited to:

  • Active Shooter: Avoid, Deny, Defend
  • Weapon selection – such as firearms or non-lethal options
  • Force protection/physical security measures – such as alarm systems, fences, personnel considerations, and lighting options
  • Reporting procedures – incident logs, contact with law enforcement
  • Security drills – how to conduct drills and what drills to conduct
  • Identify people that may be a threat
  • First-aid for trauma, like gunshot wounds

No gear is required for the class. By appointment only.  Please click here to contact us for scheduling and pricing information.
